KANGPOKPI, AUG 15: The 112 Battalion CRPF on Thursday organised a Har Ghar Tiranga rally in Kangpokpi as part of the nationwide campaign ahead of the 80th Independence Day.
The rally, which began in front of the SP office, Kangpokpi, saw the participation of CRPF officers, subordinate officers and personnel, police personnel, and students from Oasis College and Elite Higher Secondary School, Kangpokpi.
Carrying the national flag, the participants marched along NH-2 through the main market area of Kangpokpi, displaying the spirit of patriotism and national unity.

The initiative also highlighted the coordination between the security forces, educational institutions and local youth in marking the Independence Day celebrations.
The rally culminated at Brig. M. Thomas Ground, Kangpokpi, where participants joined in the mass singing of Vande Mataram to commemorate the 150th anniversary of the national song and pay tribute to the nation’s freedom struggle.
Refreshments were also provided to the participating students at the conclusion of the programme.
