13 people tested positive for COVID-19 die in Manipur

As many as 13 people who were tested positive for COVID-19 died in Manipur in the last 24 hours.

Meanwhile, on Thursday, the state recorded 380 fresh cases of the disease taking the overall infection tally to 33,733. The fatality tally, who were tested positive for COVID-19, also rose to 447, the Health department said.

The number of active coronavirus cases in the state also rose to 2991as 33 discharges in the past 24 hours took the number of recovery tally to 30,295. The recovery rate dropped to 89.80%
Of the 380 new infections, 18 were Central security force personnel and of the 362 from the general population, 170 were from Imphal West and 116 from Imphal East district.

Churachandpur district where the entire district was declared as a containment zone today reported 29 fresh cases and 23 in Kakching district. Other districts reported below 10-mark.
