Over 12 beneficiaries of age above 60 years were given Covid-19 vaccine in Tamenglong so far.
According to Health Department Tamenglong, till Tuesday the total number of people given 2nd dose of vaccine in the district have reached 1289 while total number of people to receive 1st dose have reached 2887.
Out of total number of people to receive vaccination, 642 health care worker have received their 1st dose while 428 have already taken the 2nd dose. From among Front line worker, 848 have received 2nd dose while 1686 have received the first dose.
So far, only 1 person from the population between 45-60 years of age have taken 2nd dose of vaccine while 308 took the 1st dose. From among 60 years and above, 251 have taken their 1st dose while 12 have already taken the 2nd dose.
