Imphal, June 14: Manipur Police in a press note on Saturday said a joint security teams launched simultaneous operations that yielded a haul of 328 firearms.
The press note said Manipur Police in coordination with Central Armed Police Forces (CAPFs), the Army, and Assam Rifles, conducted massive search operations during the intervening night of June 13 and 14, leading to the recovery of a substantial cache of arms, ammunition, and explosives from various locations across five valley districts.

Acting on specific intelligence inputs about weapons stashed in the outskirts of the valley districts, joint security teams launched simultaneous operations that yielded a haul of 328 firearms, including:

The Manipur Police said the operation is a “major achievement” in its ongoing efforts to restore normalcy and ensure the safety of civilians and their property.
