As per the directive (Order No. H-3607/4/2022-HD-HD (Pt)) issued by the Home Department on June 12, 2025, the suspension will remain in effect until 6 AM on June 13, 2025. The state government cited the need to maintain public order and to manage the inconveniences faced during unrest as the basis for the extension.

This government’s June 12 order is a connection to the previous suspension order dated June 7, 2025, which ordered the temporary suspension of internet and mobile data services, including broadband, VSATs, and VPNs, in the five valley districts.
