Mizoram is doing very well when it comes to fighting COVID-19. The state witnessed 91% cases of the disease recovered on Friday.
According to the Health department, only 183 active cases of COVID-19 stand as of Friday after 37 cases were discharged in the past 24 hours. This update means that 1974 cases have been recovered in the state. The Mizoram COVID-19 recovery rate has also improved to 91.52 per cent on Friday.
Encouraging news is also about the declining rate of fresh COVID-19 cases in the state.
Meanwhile, the state detected 7 fresh cases of COVID-19 on Friday, taking the tally to 2157. The Health department said that 613 cases have no travel history.
It can be mentioned here that the state has not reported a single fatality case till date.
