1,695 Students take HSLC Exam in Senapati

Senapati, Feb 19: Altogether, 1,695 students are appearing in the High School Leaving Certificate Examination, 2025 at 8 different exam centers in the Senapati district.

203 students are appearing at Don Bosco Hr. Sec. School, Maram, 192 students at Mao-Maram Hr. Sec. School, Tadubi, 161 students at Sardar Patel High School, Mao, 198 students at Bethany Hr. Sec. School, Senapati, 203 students at Lao Radiant Hr. Sec. School, Karong, 229 students at D.V. School, Senapati, 308 students at Purul Hr. Sec. School and 201 students at Paomata High School.

Rang David Kung, MCS, ADC/ADM who is also the district Nodal/Coordinating Officer for HSLC examination stated that all arrangements have been made before the start of the examination. Earlier, the officer stated to have briefed every detail to all examination Officers in charge, security personnel, and all exam in charge. The officer is hopeful that most of the exam centers in the district are experienced and well-versed in following all the formalities and the do’s and don’ts during the examination.

The district administration has also stated to have constituted inspection teams headed by an Assistant Inspector of Schools from the ADC, Senapati including 3 graduate teachers each. The team was stated to inspect for law and order, and smooth conduct of the examinations where each team shall visit 2 exam centers during the examination. The officers in charge of each exam center were stated to have been instructed to take care of the physically challenged students if any students needed special care. Quick Response Teams were stated to be ready for any emergency to be attended. The nodal officer appeals to all concerned to ensure a safe and peaceful atmosphere until the exam finishes.

The district apex student body, Senapati District Students Association (SDSA) along with Poumai Naga Tsiidoumai Me (PNTM) inspected the Paomata High School exam centre.

Mention may be made that Paomata High School hosts the matric Examination for the very first time this year. Saloni Tony, President, SDSA exhorted the candidate to take the exam like normal or casual exams and not be panic or fear-stricken. He also stressed maintaining fairness in the Examinations. Furthermore, the candidates were assured clean and healthy environment in the exam centre. Students were seen all set to write their first paper today, marking a significant milestone for the region. The center was also visited by the flying squad of the board led by Kuba John, A.I. for monitoring the smooth conduct of the examination.
