Imphal: Manipur Police on Tuesday arrested three men whom the police said are active cadres of proscribed KCP (PWG) from Bishnupur District. According to police, the arrested persons were involved in extortion of money from the general public and government officials.

Police recovered one 9mm pistol with four live rounds, one demand letter of KCP (PWG), three mobile phones, Rs. 5,820 in cash and 2 two-wheeler vehicles from their possession.
A case has been registered at the relevant police station and investigation is ongoing.
