Ukhrul: Tangkhul Naga Long (TNL), the apex body of Tangkhul Naga tribe in a press release Monday appealed for allotment of one cabinet berth for Ukhrul district.

Tuisem Kamkara, vice president TNL argued that the district has been denied ministerial berth for the last two decades, and given the election result where out of the five Naga People’s Front (NPF) elected MLAs, three came from Ukhrul.

“The CSOs from Ukhrul district has appealed to the concerned authority for allotment of one cabinet berth for inclusive and peaceful co-existence,” it added.
