ADC Teachers’ Association Chandel Elects New Office Bearers

CHANDEL: The Autonomous District Council Teachers’ Association Chandel has elected new office bearers for the tenure 2026-2030, including auditors, advisors and election commissioners.

According to a release by election commissioners Ts. Angthung and Adin Wanglar, the election of the new office bearers for five years term, i.e. 2026-2030, was held on March 31 at ADC Chandel Conference Hall, Monsang Pantha in Chandel. 

During the said election, Ts. Elius was elected as the president, Okram Agamba Meitei as vice president, Bungdon Daniel Anal as general secretary, Roslyn Vaiphei Monsang as joint secretary and Augustine Khangtal as finance secretary.

Hmunvol Langhu Anal and Rd. Nungchandai were elected as auditors while Wng. Ngamlun and Kl. Wellee were chosen as advisors. M. Kanson Tarao and Ts. Ts. Angkham were chosen as Election Commissioners.

The election commissioners had notified for the election on March 23, 2026 in a local daily along with the vacancies or posts to be filled.
