ADC Ukhrul celebrates Pension Implementation

Ukhrul: Under the aegis of Ukhrul Autonomous District Council Employee’s Welfare Association (UADCEWA), a grand feast celebration was organised to mark the employees pension implementation of ADC employees on Thursday at Town Hall, Ukhrul.

Caretaker Chairman of ADC-Ukhrul, A Mark Luithing Phungthar unveiled the monolith erected at the New ADC Administrative Office Building at Hamleikhong, Hungpung, Ukhrul, in the presence of Chief Executive Officer, ADC-Ukhrul, David Kashungnao and officers of ADC Ukhrul.

Around 500 employees from Ukhrul and Kamjong districts will be beneficiaries with the implementation of the pension. A Mark Luithing Phungthar expressed immense gratitude to Chief Minister of Manipur, N Biren Singh for taking the initiative in fulfilling the long cherish dreams of pensioners from Ukhrul and Kamjong districts. “For many years, the employees of Autonomous District Council have been deprived of this benefit. ADC employees’ pension implementation is possible because of the concerned and initiative of CM of Manipur, N Biren Singh” stated Mark Luithing Phungthar.

The programme was attended by pensioners and primary teachers under Ukhrul ADC from various corners of Ukhrul and Kamjong districts. A grand feast was organised to mark the employees pension implementation.
