All Chandel Inter-School Quiz cum Debate competition begins

Chandel: The 4th edition of the All Chandel Inter-School Quiz cum Debate Competitions ‘INQUIZTIVE’ started at Town Hall, Chandel, with 10 Government and Private schools participating from Chakpikarong and Chandel headquarters.

The first day of the competition was attended by Mayanglambam Rajkumar IAS, DC Chandel, and Hemant Pandey IPS, SP Chandel as Chief Guests.

The opening ceremony was made memorable by a special performance by Japhou Upper Primary School, Japhou village.

DC Chandel in his speech encouraged students to get out of their comfort zones and try every kind of activity and competition to improve their skill set and personalities. SP Chandel also wished the participants the best for the competitions.

The first event of the day held were Spelling Bee for class III & IV, V & VI, VII & VIII conducted by Spelling Masters Dr Miranda Bembem Mutuwa and Cr William Moyon of South East Manipur College, Komlathabi.

The drawing competitions were participated by students from nursery to KG, Class I & II of 5 schools.

The final event for the first day which was Quiz Competition, was conducted by quizmaster Ts Mhanthung Anal (President, Wisecrabs).

The second and final days are said to have Elocution & Debate Competitions.
