Chandel: Anāl feature film ‘Kainkhol’ was released on Friday at the Chamdil Town Hall, Panchai in Chandel district by Ss. Olish, the honourable MLA of 41-Chandel AC (ST).

‘Kainkhol’, which means ‘My Family’, tells the story of a flawed but loving father, portrayed by Hb. Ruwngthung, whose addiction and reckless decisions have left his family in shambles. His daughter’s (Khihring) elopement, wife’s (Khingam) departure, and son’s (Damtha) disappearance push him to rock bottom. After serving a 5-year prison sentence, he returns home determined to rebuild.

With unwavering resolve, Ruwngthung faces the consequences of his actions, seeking forgiveness from those he’s hurt. Through raw emotion, grit, and love, he slowly mends relationships and rebuilds trust.
