He also remarked that the concept of social work is profound, deeply ingrained in the spirit of uplifting humanity.
“We are truly happy when we contribute to the well-being of our society. Our wealth and success find their true purpose when shared with those in need,” stated Khashim Vashum
Sharing experiences from his years of political career, he expressed that he has been profoundly moved by the hardships faced by many impoverished individuals and families. “My compassion for the marginalized extends beyond mere political rhetoric. I have seen many individuals and families with members admitted in the hospital but have no means to pay for treatment or medicines. Knowing that I can assist in those critical moments makes me feel bound to help such needy souls. It uplifts my spirit when I can extend my hand to those who lack the resources to support themselves. I do not distinguish between individuals based on their party affiliation or their support during the election. Instead, I provide assistance to anyone in need, particularly during emergencies or difficult situations,” added Khashim Vashum.
Minister Khashim Vashum called for collective action from the party workers of 45-Chingai Assembly Constituencies, urging them to prioritize efforts aimed at alleviating the suffering of the less fortunate.
Around 700 party workers from different corners of 45-Chingai Assembly Constituency attended the celebration. Performance by Tangkhul artists, PC Makang, Ngathingpam Tangvah, Somichan Vashum, Valleyson Horam, Shonshon SP, Chungsangla Jajo, Yuileichan Mahongnao and Nimzing Horam added more colour to the festive celebration.
