Andrea Kevichüsa and Kivini Shohe to represent Nagaland at Cannes Film Festival 2023

Kohima, May 11: Indian model and actress from Nagaland Andrea Kevichüsa who starred for Anubhav Sinha’s political thriller Anek in lead role with Ayushmann Khurrana will be representing Nagaland at the 76th edition of Cannes Film Festival, 2023 to be held from May 16-27 in France.

Another prominent filmmaker from Nagaland Kivini Shohe will also attend the Cannes Film Festival. Kivini Shohe is a founding member of the Film Association of Nagaland and recipient of the Governor’s Award 2014 in the field of Arts for Filmmaking.

Kivini Shohe is also well known for her 2014 award-winning film, Oh my Soul (2014), a story of three Naga transgender.

Both the film personalities were selected to represent Nagaland State as part of the larger delegation from the film fraternity of Northeast at the upcoming Cannes Film Festival in its efforts to promote and support the development of Northeast film sector.
