ANSAM Assures full Support to host ‘The Naga Morung’ in Chandel; Urges Against Bandh

Senapati, March 26, 2025: The All Naga Students’ Association, Manipur (ANSAM) sincerely appreciates the efforts of the Naga Students’ Federation (NSF) in organizing The Naga Morung under the theme Kuknalim on March 28, 2025. The event will be hosted by the Naga Students’ Union, Chandel (NSUC) at Liwa Sarei Village Ground, Chandel.

In a press release, the student body stated that the NSF’s dedication to facilitating open and constructive discussions on the theme will greatly contribute to fostering understanding and building a just society. Such dialogues are essential for democratic progress, and the federation’s commitment to creating a platform for diverse perspectives and productive exchanges is truly commendable.

In the spirit of strengthening the federation and upholding the larger interests of the Nagas, ANSAM has assured its full support and cooperation in ensuring the success of The Naga Morung. The association remains committed to constructive collaboration in achieving positive outcomes.

Viewing such dialogues as crucial for progress, ANSAM urges all constituent units, subordinate bodies, and the Naga populace to extend their full support and participate actively. The association also appeals to law enforcement agencies, civil society organizations (CSOs), and all concerned individuals in the state to provide their utmost cooperation and refrain from calling any strikes or bandhs. This will help avoid disruptions and ensure the successful execution of the program.
