CAU Imphal Launches Training to Boost Oilseed Cultivation in Northeast

Imphal, Mar 26: The Central Agriculture University (CAU) in Imphal West has launched a comprehensive training programme aimed at enhancing the cultivation techniques of oilseed crops for farmers in the northeastern region.

The training programme entitled “Oilseed Crops for Farmers of North Eastern Hill Region” is organized in collaboration with the Indian Institute of Oilseed Research, Hyderabad, and the All India Coordinated Research Project on Soybean, Groundnut, and Rapeseed-Mustard.

The three-day event, inaugurated today, features sessions conducted by expert resource persons focusing on the cultivation practices of groundnuts, soybeans, and other oilseed crops.

Participants will be educated on modern farming techniques and best practices to optimize yield and quality.
