UKHRUL: The All Naga Students’ Association Manipur (ANSAM) has announced an emergency Presidential Council meeting scheduled for May 24 in Senapati.

According to a press statement from their president, Th. Angteshang Maring, the meeting will take place at 11:00 AM at the Shelley Chara Memorial Hall, ANSAM Secretariat, Tahamzam (Senapati). This meeting has been convened in response to the critical and emerging issues facing the Naga homeland, emphasizing the urgent need to discuss the collective position with the utmost seriousness and determination.
“This is a moment that requires unwavering unity, political vigilance, and collective strength. Therefore, all constituent and subordinate units of ANSAM are firmly urged to ensure their attendance without fail or exception. At this pivotal point in our history, there is no room for indifference or complacency,” the press statement noted.

The statement further emphasized that the Naga cause demands absolute commitment, active participation, and a strong sense of responsibility from all nineteen units of the Association.
