Imphal: Prayer as the backbone and the love of people as his strength, the flag hoisting and campaign kick-off prayer program of Awung Shimray Hopingson, BJP candidate from 43-Phungyar (ST) AC was organized at the temporary election camp located at Chingmeirong Imphal today.

The program with strict maintenance of Covid-19 protocol was attended by around 1000 people residing in Imphal from 43-Phungyar (ST) AC.

Awung Shimray Hopinson in his grand speech stated that Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has provided innumerable programs for the welfare of the people under the able leadership of prime minister Narendra Modi at the centre and chief minister N. Biren Singh in the State. He further emphasized that he’s seen tremendous development over the past 5 years under BJP-led government in Manipur.

Among the various programs under BJP-led government he mentioned that PMJAY, CMHT, Ujjwala gas, PMGKAY, JJM, PM Kisan, etc have tremendously benefited the needy and it is only through BJP led Government that such beneficial programs were introduced and it is time that 43-Phungyar (ST) AC should elect a BJP representative for better development of inclusive and progressive change.

The program was attended as chief guest by Yarthotthing Kashung president, BJP Ukhrul District,
Yuingam Keishing president BJP Phungyar Mandal as the speaker, while the act of blessing was taken up by Rev. Shimreipam Phungshok pastor ‘TBC Checkon Imphal.

The program was also attended by former Mandal presidents, present Mandal executive members, different Morchas of BJP from Phungyar, and many well-wishers from Phungyar constituency and other constituencies residing in Imphal.
