Celebrated under the theme “Ebenezer”, taken from 1 Samuel 7:12 which means “Stone of Help” or “Up to this point the LORD has helped us!” as Prophet Samuel had said, the Platinum Jubilee was attended by religious leaders and well wishers besides the villagers.
While unveiling the Jubilee monolith, H.G. Bishop Jeremiah Mor Theodosius, Episcopa explained that the monolith and the theme were a symbol of God’s love and help through the 75 years of being Christians in the village. For 75 years, God was with us and helped us through being Christians and this monolith is a testimony of that, the Bishop said.
