SENAPATI, NOV 23: The Central Bureau of Communication, Field Office Senapati said it organised a tree plantation drive under Swacta Hi Seva and Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam at Makuilongdi Hallowed ground, Makuilongdi, Senapati District on the occasion of Makuilongdi Festival, on the theme “Malanwangbo – Return of the Native.”

Per press release, saplings of fruit-bearing trees were planted during the occasion by Diganlung Gangmei (IAS, Retd.), MLA and Chairman of HAC, Government of Manipur; Thaithuilung Panmei, IAS, Commissioner of Horticulture and Sericulture, Government of Manipur; Hannah Kahmei, IAS, Deputy Commissioner of Thoubal, Government of Manipur; Dr Johny Ruangmei, Joint Chief Executive Officer, NSDMA, Government of Nagaland; Samuel Pamei, Proprietor of Super Care Hospital, Shillong; Elu Ndang, Convenor of the COC and Village Chairman of Makuilongdi Part 1, 2, 3 and 4; along with participants and officials of the Central Bureau of Communication, Senapati, led by Dr Engam Pame, IIS, Director, PIB/CBC, RO Imphal.
