CHANDEL: The District Headquarters Baptist Churches Women Prayer Group, Chandel on Saturday celebrated it’s silver jubilee at the District Headquarters Baptist Church, Japhou Bazar in Chandel.
Celebrated under the theme, “Great is thy faithfulness”, the celebration was attended by members of the Baptist Churches Women Prayer Group comprising of different tribes of the district namely Anal, Monsang, Moyon, Lamkang, Khoibu, Maring among others.
As the Blessing Minister, Rev. Dr. Sr. Onesima, president of ANBA, unveiled the Jubilee Monument. Later, the blessing minister also released the jubilee souvenir.
The Reverend also shared the Gospel message and stressed on the theme and how God’s faithfulness have kept them together for 25 years now. He said that one must also remain faithful to God for all the love and blessings He’s bestowed upon us.

The faithfuls were also enchanted by special songs from the Baptist Women Ministry of Japhou, Panchai, Maring and Khoibu. Moreover, choreography by Gorkha Baptist Church and Baptist Women Ministry of Liwa Sarei and Lambung added flavour to the jubilee celebration.
The jubilee celebration was attended by hundreds from the prayer group besides leaders from various Churches in the district.
