COCOMI to force remove Army barricade beyond Torbung on Sept 6, 11 AM

Imphal: The Coordinating Committee on Manipur Integrity (COCOMI) has restated its demand for the removal of the Army barricade at Phougakchao Ikhai, beyond Torbung in Bishnupur District.

Media Coordinator of COCOMI, Somorendro Thokchom, addressed the media at the COCOMI Office in Lamphel, emphasizing that they had set a deadline to relevant authorities for the Barricade’s removal by August end, but as of the current date, no action has been taken.

Somorendro called on the public to participate in the movement scheduled on September 6 at 11 AM.

COCOMI has warned both the state and central governments to take responsibility for any adverse incidents that may arise during the movement.
