Ukhrul: The Commission of Inquiry (Manipur Violence), 2023 wherein all persons acquainted with the Terms of Reference and subject matter of the commission are invited to furnish to the commission, a statement on affidavit relating to all such matters or a complaint or allegation on affidavit in connection with the causes and spread of violence and riots which took place on 3rd May, 2023 and thereafter.

To facilitate access to the procedure order and the public notice, sufficient copies of the documents are available at all the relief camps, sub-divisional headquarters, district headquarters and police stations of the district.
Therefore, to enable persons interested to give a statement/complaint/allegation in the form of an affidavit, the district magistrate of Ukhrul has arranged the following affidavit execution centres for Ukhrul district at the office of the deputy commissioner, Ukhrul, mini-secretariat, Ukhrul, office of the sub-divisional officer, Ukhrul north block, mini-secretariat, Ukhrul, Litan police station, Litan Sareikhong, Ukhrul district and camp office of the sub-divisional officer, Lungchong Meiphai, north block, mini-secretariat, Ukhrul.

The affidavit execution centres mentioned above shall remain open between 10:00 am to 2:00 pm on all working days. The statement, complaint or allegation by way of the affidavit is to be furnished to the commission within 45 days of the issuance of the notification.
