The CoTU alleged that the three were killed by “armed Tangkhul militants, NSCN-IM and ZUF Kamson” and said those responsible must be brought to justice.

CoTU also thanked the church leaders for drawing the chief minister’s attention to what it described as the hardships faced by residents of Kangpokpi due to the continued disruption in the supply of essential commodities.

According to the CoTU, food items and medical supplies from Imphal and Dimapur have remained blocked for more than a month, affecting people across the district. It alleged that the blockade was being enforced by a section of Nagas of Manipur.
