COVID 19 toll climbs to 13 in Manipur

UT News Service | Aug 13: A 37 year old male Covid-19 patient died of pneumonia on Thursday around 10:30am morning at RIMS, Imphal. He was a personnel of Narcotic affairs of border and reportedly the first front line worker to have succumbed to Covid-19 in the state.

Sources confirm that the patient was admitted on 2nd August for fever, cough and shortness of breath and was undergoing treatment at ICU, RIMS Covid Care Facility.
The deceased from Mayang Imphal had reportedly no travel history.
