Their return has sparked widespread public anticipation, with many eagerly awaiting clarity on the outcome of their high-level discussions with the central leadership. As Manipur continues to grapple with unrest and growing tensions, there is mounting hope among citizens that the visit will lead to meaningful steps toward restoring peace, normalcy, and a political roadmap to resolve the crisis.

Before their departure on June 9, Biren had informed the media that they intended to brief the central government on the ground realities in Manipur, urge for urgent intervention, and explore avenues for de-escalation. He also appealed to the public to remain calm, avoid emotional reactions, and strive for unity in the face of the ongoing challenges.
