Final Photo Electoral Rolls for 49-Tadubi (ST) Assembly Constituency Published

SENAPATI: The District Election Officer (DEO) and Deputy Commissioner of Senapati has announced the final publication of the Photo Electoral Rolls for 49-Tadubi (ST) Assembly Constituency in connection with the upcoming bye-election.

In a press note issued, it stated that the Final Photo Electoral Rolls of 49-Tadubi (ST) Assembly Constituency under the Special Summary Revision of Photo Electoral Rolls-2026, with January 1, 2026 as the qualifying date, was published on March 10, 2026 (Tuesday).

The publication was carried out by the office of the Electoral Registration Officer (ERO), 49-Tadubi (ST) Assembly Constituency, in accordance with the schedule fixed by the Election Commission of India for the bye-election to the constituency in Senapati district, Manipur.

The order invites the general public, electors and representatives of political parties to inspect or verify the Final Photo Electoral Rolls at the offices of the Electoral Registration Officer/Assistant Electoral Registration Officer (ERO), 49-Tadubi (ST) Assembly Constituency, as well as with all Booth Level Officers (BLOs) of the constituency. The rolls can also be accessed through the Chief Electoral Officer, Manipur’s official website.

The statement further noted that political parties have been apprised of the activities undertaken during the revision period, and copies of the Final Electoral Rolls have been handed over to representatives of recognised political parties.

According to the final rolls published on March 10, 2026, the constituency has a total of 49,871 electors, including 25,036 male electors and 24,835 female electors, with no voters registered under the third gender category. The Elector Population (EP) ratio stands at 40.52 per cent, while the gender ratio is recorded at 992. A total of 82 polling stations have been listed for the constituency.

During the revision period, 1,172 new electors were added to the rolls, while 197 names were deleted. The Final Electoral Rolls also include 496 service electors. One new polling station has been added, bringing the total number of polling stations in 49-Tadubi (ST) Assembly Constituency to 82.

The notice further stated that any appeal under Section 24 of the Representation of the People Act, 1950 against the decision of the Electoral Registration Officer may be filed before the District Election Officer/Deputy Commissioner, Senapati under Section 24(a) of the Act. A second appeal against the decision of the first appellate authority may be made to the Chief Electoral Officer, Manipur under Section 24(b), in accordance with Rule 27 of the Registration of Electors Rules, 1960.
