Finance minister Nirmala Sitharaman to visit Nagaland on July 4

Kohima: Union Finance minister Nirmala Sitharaman will visit Nagaland on July 4 and 5. This was disclosed by Nagaland chief secretary J Alam Tuesday.

The Nagaland chief secretary announced that the Union Finance minister will be attending the Nagaland CSR & Investment Conclave 2022 scheduled to be held on July 4 and 5, 2022. Alam said this while addressing the AHoDs & HoDs meeting today at the Nagaland Civil Secretariat Conference Hall, Kohima.

The chief secretary also stated that the CSR conclave was the first of its kind in Nagaland which is being organized by Investment and Development Authority (IDAN). Alam reminded all the government departments to give full attention towards the success of the programme.

Alam also informed that the state government plans on implementing e-pension at the earliest and added that areas of reforms need to be addressed for proper functioning of the government. The chief secretary expressed confidence that the new technologies can be implemented successfully for easing businesses since the state has abled officers.

CEO of IDAN, Alemtemshi while briefing the officers stated that the CSR conclave is one step towards the many positive changes coming to the state. He stated that various companies have shown their interest in investing in Nagaland and expects fruitful participation. He highlighted that there will be business to business and business to government interactions and bankers conclave during the event as well. He then sought cooperation and support from the officers of the state government for the success of the programme.
