UKHRUL: The Forum for Naga Reconciliation (FNR) held a memorial service for its late leader, Niketu Iralu, at Shalom Bible Seminary, Sechü-Zubza, bringing together family members, friends and elders to remember his life and work.
The gathering, FNR said, reflected on Iralu’s contribution to reconciliation, peace and unity, with speakers recalling his commitment to dialogue and his influence on Naga society.

His wife, Christine Iralu, and nephew, Rev. Dr. Sanyu Iralu, paid tribute to him, remembering his humility, courage and commitment to the cause of reconciliation. “Uncle Niketu Iralu’s legacy calls us to continue the journey he began,” FNR said.
The programme concluded with a candlelight prayer led by Pari Sanyu, symbolising hope and the continuation of Iralu’s vision for reconciliation and unity.
The FNR in its release furhter reaffirmed its commitment to carrying forward the path of dialogue, healing and shared responsibility that Iralu championed, according to the forum.
