Ukhrul/Dimapur, October 13: The Government of the People’s Republic of Nagalim (GPRN) has issued a warrant of arrest against its Deputy Kilonser, Hekugha Chophy, for alleged defiance of national principles and allegiance, and in connection with a sexual offence case.

The Ministry of Kilo Affairs, in a warrant signed under the directive of the Hon’ble Kilo Kilonser, stated that the concerned authorities have been directed to deploy Naga Army personnel and regional staff to arrest Hekugha Chophy and produce him before the Ministry “at the earliest.”

“The undersigned as directed by the Hon’ble Kilo Kilonser, hereby issue this Warrant of Arrest against Mr. Hekugha Chophy, Dy. Kilonser, for defiance of national principle and allegiance,” the order read.

Following the warrant, the Ministry issued an appeal instructing the Caretakers and Chief Administrative Officers (CAOs) of Angami, Chakhesang, Sumi, and UT regions to carry out the arrest in coordination with the Naga Army and to produce the accused before the Ministry of Kilo Affairs within one week from the date of issue. The order refers to the earlier warrant dated September 26, 2025, issued under Memo No. 61-02/25-26/ARST-WRT/MKA/GPRN.

The Ministry also appealed to the general public and other Naga National Political Groups (NNPGs) not to provide shelter to the accused. “His misdeeds have no place in this civilized society,” the appeal stated, warning that anyone found harboring him would face “heavy liabilities.”

Reiterating its stand, the Ministry of Kilo Affairs said it will leave “no stone unturned to deliver justice for the aggrieved victim.”
