HSLC Exam 2022 commences, 1936 candidates appearing from Senapati

Senapati: High School Leaving Certificate (Matric) exam conducted by the Board of Secondary Education, Manipur (BOSEM) commenced today at 10 different centres in Senapati district. While 39,764 candidates are appearing at the board exam in 192 different exam centres, 1,936 candidates are appearing the said exam in 10 different exam centres in Senapati district.

Different exam centres in Senapati district include Don Bosco Hr. Sec., Maram, Mao-Maram Hr. Sec., Tadubi, Sardar Patel High School, Mao, Okai Academy, Mao, Bethany Hr. Sec., Rikhumai Taphou, Senapati, St. Anthony’s School, Rikhumai Taphou, Senapati, Lao Radiant Hr. Sec., Vakho, Karong, Grace Eng School, Karong, D.V. School, Senapati and Purul Hr. Sec., Purul. Senapati DC had earlier issued 144 CrPC in and around the exam centres of the district to ensure smooth conduct of the exam.

Solomon L, ZEO, Senapati during his inspections to various exam centres stated that there are 5 exam centres in Senapati district headquarters and 5 exam centres outside the district headquarters.

It is learnt that the current appearing candidates could be one of the highest number when such board exams have been conducted till date. Reliable source mentioned that flying squads from the Board are expected to arrive at different exam centres without being notified.

Student leaders from Senapati District Students’ Association (SDSA) and its federating units have been visiting different exam centres to ensure free and fair conduct of the exam. The exam is slated to continue till April 26 of this month with some offs in the middle of the exam.

Addressing media persons while visiting exam centres, Pung Mark, president, SDSA stated that the exam is going on peacefully and in a fair manner. The student leader also advises all the candidates to fair well in the exam as it is considered a very important exam in their lives. Pung Mark stated that the environment is very peaceful and the student body is ever ready to assist in any circumstances adding the board exam will decide many things in a student’s life.
