Hundung Substation Transformer under Replacement; Power Disruption in Phalang Feeder Areas

Ukhrul, June 4: Manipur State Power Company Limited on Wednesday informed that the 1MVA power transformer at 33/11KV substation, Hundung tripped on June 2, 2025, and rectification works have not yielded results.

A press note issued by MSPCL said, “to get the substation operational as soon as possible, the substation will remain in shutdown for a few days for replacement of the faulty 1MVA power transformer.”

Further, the MSPCL, Substation at Khumanlampak, Imphal while regretted the power supply disruption, and the inconvenience caused to the public, added that all areas serviced by 11KV Phalang feeder will be affected during the aforementioned period.
