Kangpokpi: KSO Sadar Hills Serves 48-hour Ultimatum to Irregular Officials

KANGPOKPI: The Kuki Students’ Organisation Sadar Hills has issued a 48-hour ultimatum to irregular and negligent officials of the Executive Engineer (EE), PHED, Kangpokpi Division, and the Deputy Director, TA/Hills, Kangpokpi.

KSO Sadar Hills, in a statement, said it executives conducted a surprise inquiry at the offices of EE PHED Kangpokpi and Deputy Director TA/Hills Kangpokpi, located in the DC Office Complex, Kangpokpi, following of repeated grievances from the public regarding irregularities and neglect of duty by officials of the said departments.  

The inquiry confirmed the public’s allegations of irregular attendance and inefficiency, it stated.

KSO Sadar Hills has, therefore, served an ultimatum to the concerned officers to attend office regularly and perform duties effectively within 48 hours and show genuine interest in resolving public grievances.

It also demanded the concerned officials to resign from their positions, if they are unable to fulfill their duties. 

It further warned that failure to comply will lead to KSO Sadar Hills to take necessary action and added that it will not remain silent spectators to such negligence.

KSO Sadar Hills also urged the public to cooperate and await further developments.
