Kuki Militants Target Civilians in Sinakeithei: Mother and Son Under Attack

Ukhrul: In a grave incident involving civilians’ safety, suspected Kuki militants have fired upon two innocent civilians in Sinakeithei Naga village, Ukhrul District. The civilian mother and son were reportedly attacked while they were in their field gathering crops.

A video circulating on social media shows them lying in the field, taking cover behind bushes to protect themselves from the attack.

Additionally, sources have noted that rescue efforts by security forces are being hindered by women from the nearby Leplen Kuki village.
