UKHRUL: The ongoing confrontation between the Kukis and Nagas in Sinakeithei, Ukhrul District, shows no signs of abating, with heavy gunfire continuing since Thursday afternoon. Reports indicate that Kuki militants have allegedly fired five Rocket Propelled Grenades (RPGs) during the latest attack by Kuki militants.

According to the Sinakeithei Village Authority (VA), the confrontation began on Thursday around 3 PM and has persisted without interruption. The VA noted that Kuki militants continued their attacks at regular intervals, starting around 8 PM on Thursday until 3:30 AM on Friday. This morning, another series of attacks took place at approximately 6:15 AM and continued until 9:30 AM.
