Lifetime Whispers

Published on

I have sent up, to the heavens,
Thousands of lanterns,
Whispering wishes to the wind;

I’d still be born
Into the bosom of the hills,
Beneath a sky overcast with clouds,
Air made of mist,
A crooning of river reeds
Through a field of dandelions.
