LM Khaute shares warm family moment photos

Former Director General of Police of Manipur, LM Khaute IPS in what seems to be a last family photoshoot from his office chambers shared heart warming photos of his family together captioned “Having served the country over 36-odd years as Indian Police Service Officer-1985 Batch, I took voluntary service from 10th Dec.2021 to serve the people of Manipur & nation. Intend to contest Manipur Assembly Elections 2022. Proud to have led Manipur Police as DGP since Jan. 2016”.

LM Khaute, before taking the voluntary retirement from active Indian Police Service on December 10 to join politics served as the DGP Manipur for six years. He has a masters in Politics & International Studies.

The retired DGP will contest the upcoming 12th Manipur Legislative Assembly polls due early next year.

IPS officer P Doungel, who was the Additional Director General of Police (ADGP), DG (Prisons) was given the charge of Director General of Police, Manipur and Head of Police Force on December 13 by Government of Manipur.
