The reconciliation process was initiated by the Zingsho National Workers Forum (ZNWF) and carried forward with the support of the Eastern Tangkhul Naga CSOs. The effort was rooted in a shared commitment to “living together with lasting peace” and rebuilding community trust.

Village members described the agreement as “long overdue” as they welcomed the new understanding as a positive step toward healing past divisions and strengthening social cohesion in the village.
