Manipur Clinches Dr. B.C. Roy Title, Beats Bengal 3–0

Imphal, July 30: The Manipur Junior Boys’ Football Team emerged as champions of the Junior Boys’ National Football Championship for the Dr. B.C. Roy Trophy 2025-26, defeating West Bengal in a commanding 3–0 victory in the final held today at Guru Nanak Stadium, Amritsar, Punjab.

According to a press release issued by L. Jyotirmoy Roy, General Secretary of the All Manipur Football Association (AMFA), the victory marks a proud moment for the football-loving state.

The Dr. B.C. Roy Trophy, organized by the All India Football Federation (AIFF), is one of the premier youth football tournaments in the country, showcasing the best under-19 talents from across India.
