Manipur CM reviews various NHIDCL projects

Manipur Chief Minister, N Biren Singh reviewed various projects undertaken by the National Highways and Infrastructure Development Corporation Limited (NHIDCL) in the State through video conferencing on Tuesday.

At the Chief Minister’ Secretariat the review meeting was attended by Commissioner, Revenue  R.K. Dinesh and other officials while Deputy Commissioners (DCs) of concerned districts where the projects are taken up, officials of NHIDCL and Manipur State Power Company Ltd. (MSPCL) also attended the meeting from their respective offices among others.

During the meeting, Executive Director, NHIDCL Rajeev Sood placed a brief statement to the Chief Minister on different issues and problems faced while working on the projects at different districts.

Taking note of the issues, N. Biren Singh instructed the concerned DCs to look into the matter and take up necessary steps at the earliest. He further added that the ongoing projects should be completed without any delay as the same were taken up as a part of mission oriented projects of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi.
