SENAPATI/UKHRUL: Ukhrul Times has learnt that two people were killed and two others injured in an incident at Kalengjang in Kangpokpi district on Saturday.
The deceased, both Nagas, have been identified as Rocky Mao of Chowainamei village and Kumar Poumai of Laii Shirafii. Both reportedly died on the spot. The exact time of the incident could not be ascertained at the time of filing this report.
The injured have been identified as Ashiho Sani, 49, of Shajouba, and Adani Manio, 33, of Makhel, both from the Mao Naga community.

The injured were rushed to GetWell Hospital for immediate medical treatment, while the bodies of the deceased were taken to District Hospital, Senapati, for further procedures.
The circumstances leading to the incident and the nature of the injuries could not be independently verified at the time of filing this report.
