Manipur Government allows 30% fee and 50% salary

The Manipur government on Monday issued an order allowing all private and aided schools other than the government schools to collect 30% of the monthly payable fees.  The order also asked the schools to pay 50% of the monthly payable salary to its teachers and staffs.

The order also said that even if there was an agreement between the school authorities and the Parents/Guardian Association of the school, the payable monthly fee should not exceed 50% of the actual fee and the salary for the teachers and staff should not be lower than 50% of the payable salary.

It further asked the schools to continue with online/distance learning and that the concern authorities should ensure that proper guidelines issued by the Ministry of Home Affairs Government of India vide Order No.40-3/2020-DM-I(A) dated 30-09-2020 and the Orders  No H-1601/2/2020- HD dated 01-10-2020 issued  by Government of Manipur are followed and complied with.

It may be noted that the current order issued by the Department of Education (Schools), Manipur Government is a partial modification of its previous order dated. 20.06.2020.
