Ukhrul, June 4: Manipur Governor Ajay Kumar Bhalla on Wednesday chaired meetings at the conference hall of the Raj Bhavan in Imphal. The Governor reviewed the progress of construction of the Civil Secretariat by the Public Works Department (PWD). Chief Engineer, PWD, gave a detailed report on the ongoing projects to the Governor.

The Governor also chaired a meeting with the officials of Loktak Development Authority (LDA) and reviewed the progress of Integrated Management Plan (IMP) and other activities being undertaken by the LDA to restore the ecological balance and conserve the Loktak Lake. The officials briefed the Governor about the developments and challenges faced by the Authority. Their Governor acknowledged their concerns and assured them to extend full support.
Chief Secretary, PCCF, Principal Secretaries, Commissioners, Secretaries and other senior officers attended both the meetings.
