Covid-19 cases in Manipur saw 780 new cases, taking the total tally to 69,198, while the death toll has touch 1,141 with 11 more fatality on Tuesday, the state health department informed.
As per government of Manipur, the total number of persons vaccinated till Monday stands at 5,34,103.
As many as 5051 Covid-19 test results were received out of which 201 positive cases were from Imphal West, 160 Imphal East, 153 Churachandpur, 120 Thoubal as the top four highest daily new positive cases among the districts in Manipur. Bishnupur reported 58, Kakching 47, three each in Chandel, Senapati and Kamjong, two in Jiribam, seen in Ukhrul, eight in Tengnoupal, one in Phrezwal and 11 in Noney.
The culminative number of test results received as of Tuesday stands at 8,96,997 in Manipur.
In the past 24 hours, 11 persons died due to Covid-19 related health complications. Among them six were from Imphal West, three in Thoubal, one each from Imphal East, Chandel.
