Manipur: Rajasthan’s Nandini Gupta wins Femina Miss India 2023 title

Imphal, April 15: Rajasthan State’s Nandini Gupta has been crowned the Femina Miss India 2023 tittle at the glittering grand finale event held in Imphal on Saturday evening.

Shreya Punja of Delhi and Manipur’s Thounaojam Strela Luwang bagged the first and second runners-up title respectively.

The 30 State winners were judged by a panel consisting of Femina Miss India Universe 2002 and Mentor Neha Dhupia, boxing icon Laishram Sarita Devi, and designers Rocky S and Namrata Joshipura.

It may be noted for the first time in the history of Northeast India, Manipur hosted the 59th edition of the Femina Miss India 2023 grand finale at Khuman Lampak Indoor Stadium in Imphal.

“Truly happy to see that grand finale of the 59th Femina Miss India 2023, successfully hosted at Khuman Lampak Indoor Stadium, Imphal. Manipur, the Jewel of India, has much more to offer to the people of the nation and the world,” said chief minister N Biren Singh on Twitter.

The chief minister also tanked the Times Group, the organisers & all the 30 contestants for providing the state an opportunity to host such a historic event and to showcase rich, vibrant culture, traditions and its potential for ecotourism. 

I wish the very best to the winners & the contestants in all their future endeavours, he said ahead of the crowning moment.

The Femina Miss India 2023 pageant grand finale was co-host by Bollywood actress and youth icon Bhumi Padnekar and magnetic Maniesh Paul. The glittering event saw performances by Bollywood actors Ananya Panday and Kartik Aaryan.

State winners also walked the ramp in gorgeous ensembles designed by the iconic designers Rocky S and Namrata Joshipura, and a special showcase by Robert Naorem, featuring traditional costumes aimed to promote the textile, art and culture of the Manipur.
