The legal notice was related with Maheshwar’s remark, during a public event in New Delhi on June 30, demanding complete removal of Assam Rifles from Manipur.

In the legal notice, it is alleged that Maheshawar’s remark not only defamed but portrayed Assam Rifles poorly in front of the people.
