Ukhrul: Chanchui Khayi, from Ukhrul District, Manipur, will be representing her state in the prestigious 60th edition of the Femina Miss India beauty pageant.

A post-graduate in Performing Arts specializing in Drama and Theatre Arts, Chanchui is a multi-talented artist with accolades in singing, dancing, and acting, including the Sushma Swaraj Award for Distinguished Women Achievers in music and dance. Beyond her artistic achievements, she is committed to advancing child and youth development programs, inspiring young people to connect their passions with their dreams.

Chanchui’s impressive journey includes being crowned Miss Lily in 2019, winning the K-Pop India Contest 2020 in the Solo Singing Category, securing the first runner-up title at Miss Northeast India 2019, and being among the three winners of the 19th Sunsilk Mega Miss North East in 2023, held in Guwahati.

This diamond jubilee edition of Femina Miss India 2024 will feature 30 contestants representing all 29 states and a collective representative for the union territories. The grand finale, where all finalists will compete for the Femina Miss India World title, is slated for October 2024.

After Thounaojam Strela Luwang’s commendable third-place finish at Femina Miss India 2023, Chanchui Khayi will be giving Manipur another shot at the crown in Femina Miss India 2024.
