Mao Youth Kaiyikho Kayina Clears CA Without Coaching, Joins Brother as State’s First Sibling CAs

Senapati, July 7: A. Kaiyikho Kayina Mao, 30, has cleared the Chartered Accountancy (CA) Final Examination 2025, becoming the youngest among the three brothers in his family to achieve the milestone. He passed the prestigious exam in his second attempt and without any coaching.

Originally from Song Song village and currently residing in Mao Taphou, Senapati District Headquarters, Kaiyikho’s success marks a rare achievement, he now joins his elder brother, A. Losii Kayina Mao, who cleared the CA exam in July 2022, making them the first sibling Chartered Accountants from Manipur.

The son of Adahe Mao, a retired employee from Income Tax department, and Riamjenliu Mao, Kaiyikho completed his graduation from Shri Ram College of Commerce, Delhi University, followed by post-graduation from the Delhi School of Economics. Since then, he had been fully focused on the CA exam, preparing independently with strong discipline and faith.

His father said, “Man alone cannot achieve this. It is only by the grace of God, with the help of prayers from our family, relatives, and church. We are so thankful and proud of our son.”

A. Kaiyikho Kayina Mao is one of five siblings, he has two elder brothers, one a CA and the other an engineer, and two younger sisters.

With Kaiyikho’s result, Senapati district now has four Chartered Accountants, including three from the Mao community and one from the Poumai Naga tribe. Kaiyikho plans to begin his professional journey in the coming months.
