Medical Officer tests COVID19 positive in Senapati District, Manipur

UT News Service | July 25: As per the report issued by the District Magistrate, a Medical Officer of Senapati District Hospital has tested positive for Covid-19.

Doctor Mustaque, the MO, attended both OPD and hospital duty on the 20th and 21st July at the District Hospital. Contact tracing of both primary and secondary contacts are actively being taken up by the rapid response team, Senapati.

Director DHS, Senapati has appealed to all primary contacts, both the hospital staff on duty and patients who attended medicine OPD on the 20th and 21st July 2020 to report to the District Surveillance Officer,Senapati immediately for testing.

As per orders issued by the District Magistrate, Senapati District Hospital will be shut down with immediate effect until further notice. Market in the District Headquarter will also be closed with immediate effect for 5 days or until further notice whichever case is earlier, as per orders.
